I don't think so!

So today we went to the Livermore Farmer's Market and hung out in downtown Livermore. Ari wanted to play in the water at the Lizzy Memorial Fountain, so we stopped by there. I noticed a really creepy looking guy sitting on a bench about 30 feet from the fountain. He was watching the kids run around in the water in their bathing suits and what not. I kept an eye on him, and it didn't seem like any of the kids there were his. I guess I can't really say anything because there were other adults sitting around reading books and enjoying the fountain that didn't have kids. But something about this guy didn't sit right with me. We walked around downtown, and then went back to the fountain to eat our red velvet cupcakes we got from the farmer's market. The guy was still there! Then he started smoking. I thought it was a cigarette at first, which is terrible concidering there are kids there. But once I smelled it, I knew instantly that he was smoking weed. Ari's dad pointed out that he was drinking something out of a brown paper bag. Probably aclcohol of some sort. I was furious at this point... I had to leave. As we walked away, I called the police and told them about man. They said they would send someone out there to check it out. I don't know what happened after that because we drove off, but I hope they caught that guy! I don't think I could have slept tonight if I left and didn't call the cops. He can't get away with that! Not in my neck of the woods! Especially after the whole Jaycee Dougard story, we don't want people like that walking around freely!

New puppy!

My mom just got the cutest puppy i've ever seen! My kids are scared of him because he's so full of energy likes to chase them around... It's kind of funny! My mom can't figure out a name for him, but she likes the name Gucci... I think he looks like a Pugsley myself!

Ari is growing up!

I loved Gingerbread Preschool when I was a kid! And now my daughter is set to start school there on September 12th! I'm so excited for her! She will love it! She loves other kids and is eager to learn! I called the school today to see if they had any openings left, and luckily there was ONE spot! So I rushed over there to sign Ari up, and we got it! I can't believe how fast she is growing up! One minute she's a baby, the next she's about to start preschool! What a big girl!

RIP Grandpa Hal

I know we are all feeling a little bit sad,
That we've lost our Grandpa, our friend and our dad
Together we have cried an ocean of tears
As we feel so empty and hold many fears

But Grandpa would want us to know he's in a good place
And that he watching us all with a smile on his face
As we have made him so proud, as proud as can be
That he has raised such a beautiful and special family

Thinking back now I really must say
I feel lucky and privileged to have known Grandpa to this day
For in my life, you have played a special part
The memories I will treasure and keep close to your heart

For me I am glad my little babies he got to meet
And for all of us, be grateful, his life is now complete
To each one of us he has loved and cared
And a family, be thankful for the good times we shared

Although he has gone we will always be together
And his spirit will live on each one of us forever
When you look to the sky, look for the brightest star
As that will be Grandpa looking down on us from afar

And now I would like to thank the good Lord above
For blessing us with our Grandpa with his kindness and love
Dear God, if it is not too much fuss
Take extra special care of our Grandpa as he is very dear to us

Grandpa if you are listening say a prayer for us every day
Be sure to protect us and guide us on our way
We know when God called you, you had to go
But we want you to know Grandpa we miss you and love you so

Keyword: RELAX!!!

Today was just what I needed! Usually when I have a day off, I insist on going out and doing something extreme, which I actually LOVE to do... But lately, it seems like irony has been following me around like a dog following a kid with a hot dog in his back pocket... Things haven't been turning out the way I expect. Anyway, so I decided I would dedicate this lovely Thursday to a day of relaxation! I highly reccomend this! I hope I can spend a few hours once per week doing this! Today concisted of: yoga, reading, avocado face mask, meditation, an epsom salt detox bath, and a Lifetime movie! Doesn't get much better than that! After Tyler's nap, we stopped by the Dublin Farmer's Market and took a long walk around Emerald Glen Park! Such a relaxing, low-key day!

Happy birthday Tyler!

I can't believe my little baby is two years old now! Time flies, especially with 2 kids! We had a fun weekend celebrating his special day! On his actual birthday, the whole family went to the concert in the park. We brought wine, Capri suns, pizza, and games. So fun! We had his party on Sunday with more family and friends. We had the party at Super Frank's in the Fish Tank room. Everyone had a good time! I am in love with that room, it's so unique and fun! It's really dark, but everything glows in the black lights! There was a huge jumper, a foam ocean, a submarine, beach chairs, glow in the dark coloring, a fake beach, lots of toys, etc. I'm glad everyone had a good time, especially Ty Ty!

Of course we had to get a Cars cake!
